Taps, toilets & fixtures
“It drips, it runs, it will not stop.”
The small jobs that quietly cost money and sleep. Usually one visit, and we carry the common parts so it does not turn into two.
A dripping tap is not nothing
A steady drip is measurable on a water bill over a year, and on a hot tap you are paying to heat every drop. Most are a washer or a cartridge and are done in the same visit.
A toilet that runs
A cistern that keeps refilling is usually an inlet valve or a worn outlet seal. It is one of the cheapest things to fix and one of the most expensive to ignore, because it runs continuously and silently.
New fixtures
Basins, sinks, toilets, mixers, and the connections for a new dishwasher or washing machine. If you are buying the fixture yourself, send us the model before you buy and we will tell you whether it will fit what is already in the wall.
Asked often
Can I supply my own tapware?
Yes. Check with us before you buy, though — some imported fittings do not meet Australian standards and cannot legally be installed, and it is better to find that out in the shop.
